Here are a few Birmingham pubs worth a visit when you are in town.

The Bartons Arms is a splendid Victorian Birmingham pub.

Built in 1901 the interior of this old Birmingham pub is beautiful and is
a must see when visiting Birmingham.
It has a glorious past;people such as Laurel and Hardy, Charlie Chaplin, Marie Lloyd and the great opera star Caruso lodged and drank here when performing at the now
demolished Aston Hippodrome which was opposite and what is now the site of the "Drum

It has some great ales and a wide range of imported bottled beers. There is also Thai food on offer which is excellent and I highly recommend it.

                               The Wellington, Bennetts Hill, Birmingham
The Wellington is probably Birmingham's best real ale pub with over fifteen handpulls
of real ales and 3 of traditional Cider.
It is in Birmingham City Centre only a few minutes walk from New St and Snow Hill
Railway stations and I highly recommend it.
The only downside is that it does not sell food, although you can take your own sandwiches!

The old Joint stock in Birmingham City Centre
This pub is situated in the heart of the city by the Cathedral in
Temple Row West. It was converted from an old banking house by
Fullers and is a very popular place with a good selection of Ales,
wines and other drinks. Food is available from 12 noon onwards.
